[Data Presentation!] Specific Methods for Implementing IoT in Factories

Introducing specific methods for implementing factory IoT, starting with "the benefits and challenges of implementation"!

In recent years, the IoTization of factory equipment and devices has been gaining attention. By introducing IoT into production sites, it has become possible to monitor the operational status of equipment, leading to expectations for improved productivity and more efficient maintenance. This document presents specific methods for how to implement IoT systems in a short period, at a low cost, and safely, using general-purpose products and existing infrastructure. Please take a moment to read it. [Contents] ■ Benefits and Challenges of Implementation ■ Utilizing PLC Gateways ■ Utilizing Compact PLC Gateways ■ Utilizing IoT Controllers ■ All-in-One IoT Platforms ■ Abnormal Detection System for High-Pressure Water Pumps *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Plant Factory IoT System

Contributing to society with IoT solutions! Introducing examples of the Kaso IoT Platform provided.

We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of the "Plant Factory IoT System" by Kachou Corporation. Currently, each factory lacks a unified system, requiring a large amount of resources (people, costs, systems) every time a new factory is established. The introduction of this system will reduce the burden of rewiring during failures by enabling wireless data collection from various sensors and devices. 【Issues Addressed (Excerpt)】 ■ Maintenance and Operation Challenges - There are nearly 500 devices, including sensors, equipment, and gateways, making rewiring difficult in the event of a failure with wired connections. - Remote support for installed equipment within the factory is not possible. ■ Performance and Scalability Challenges - When changes or expansions are made to the upper system (on the cloud), configuration changes are required for the devices installed in each factory. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
